Natalia Kotowska

Natalia Kotowska is from Wodzislaw Slaski, Poland, training at the Miraz Dance Company, Iskra and Aspect dance schools since childhood, and as part of the StoryTellerz Dance Company after moving to London in 2009. The crew performed in shows ‘PanAfric,’ ‘Unified,’ ‘Glow in the Dark,’ as well as on the Sky TV show ‘Got to Dance’ and the ‘Idance UK Dance Championship,’ where they won 5th place. She has two bachelors degrees: in Tourism and Leisure from the Sport University in Katowice, and in Dance Urban Practice from the University of East London, where she performed multiple times at the Stratford Theatre before graduating in 2014.

Individually Natalia has participated in many dance battles including House Dance UK, SDK, Funkin Stylez, Bboy UK Championships and one of the biggest dance competitions Juste Debout, where she qualified in the top sixteen. She represented the UK and Poland in Canada, USA, Germany, Poland, Estonia and Ukraine, taking part in dance events, battles, dance discussion panels and workshops. Through her travels, she deepened her knowledge in hip hop and house dance from pioneers and legends in the dance industry: Marquest, Buddha Street, Henry Link, Bobby Mileage, Brooklyn Terry , Sekou Heru, Tone McGregor, Loose Joint, Caleaf Seller, Marjory Smarth, E-joy Wilson.

Natalia is working as a dance and fitness teacher, model, performer and judge across the UK and internationally, developing her position as an educator in this field. She collaborates with B-Better Dance Company and Royal Academy of Dance, where she teaches hip-hop and house. In 2016 Natalia was a teacher and judge at major dance events ‘Move It’ in London as well as Power Dance, National Dance Competition and ’Time For Kids’ in Poland.

Natalia’s commercial work experience is expanding: her portfolio includes features in music videos, Bollywood films, clothing adverts and in dance and fitness photoshoots developing her personal brand NK Do It With Nat. In 2016 Natalia went on three dance educational workshop tours around Poland, and performed and was interviewed on National Polish TV channel TVP2. Recently she started a new collaboration with London TV ‘My Channel’ where she present dance moves and fitness tips.
